These are pictures and videos from surfing on Saturday morning, 10-9-2004. Waves were waist to head high, relatively smooth, and really long. Emily went out on the jetty and filmed me and also took some shots from shore.

No swimming? Yeah, right. Well, a big wave set did come in and threw a female surfer up on the tip of the jetty. Watch out!

This video is of a really nice ride. I'm so happy, you can look closely and see me surfing with my hands over my head and wahooing for a long time (as I'm passing over the warning sign). The wave then jacks up and I have to get serious or get slammed. I was up for 15 seconds, not including the time up before Emily started taping. This is what surfing is all about! Wahoo Video

This one is funny because the ride is nice and long and at the last second, you can look really closely and actually see me leap over the wave and dive in on it's backside. I love doing that. The Leap
